Matthew McConaughey received Best Actor for "Dallas Buyers Club" at Sunday's Oscars and gave an amazingly bizarre acceptance speech.
McConaughey, 44, thanked his father, talked about God and offered some confusing thoughts on heroes.
McConaughey couldn't stop his tears from falling when he thanked his wife Camila Alves and their children.
McConaughey finished the speech with his signature catchphrase: "Alright, alright, alright."
McConaughey defeated fellow nominees Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Bruce Dern to win the first Academy award of a chequered movie career.
