Courtney Love speculates she may have discovered missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.
The plane disappeared earlier this month while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, prompting a global search that has grabbed the world's attention as baffled investigators attempt to determine what occurred to the vanished Boeing 777.
On Monday, Love, 49, shared her best guess.
Love took to twitter and facebook with a satellite picture of the ocean near the airplane's last known coordinates and some crudely drawn arrows.
"I'm no expert but up close this does look like a plane and an oil slick," Love was quoted as saying, adding: "Prayers go out to the families #MH370 and its like a mile away Pulau Perak, where they "last" tracked it 5°39’08.5″N 98°50'38.0″E but what do I know?"
