Oprah Winfrey is hitting the road for an inspirational experience to a town near you.
Winfrey, 60, is setting out an eight-city "Oprah's The Life You Want Weekend" arena tour, with each stop spanning a Friday and Saturday and featuring a keynote by Winfrey herself, who will share her personal story and advice on Friday night, group activities and inspirational speakers chosen by her on Friday.
"It's about living the life you want, because a great percentage of the population is living a life that their mother wanted, that their husband wanted, that they thought or heard they wanted," Winfrey was quoted as saying, noting that she will use the platform to push themes of "empowerment, resilience and authenticity."
"All of my life I have wanted to lead people to an empathy space. To a gratitude space," Oprah explained, adding: "I want us all to fulfill our greatest potential. To find our calling, and summon the courage to live it."
Among the accompanying motivators are: "Eat Pray Love" author Elizabeth Gilbert, pastor Rob Bell and OWN's Iyanla Vanzant, with guru Deepak Chopra taking the stage in specific cities.
Tickets for the fall tour will go on sale April 7.
