Mick Jagger has shared a warm tribute to L'Wren Scott, his girlfriend of more than a decade who tragically committed suicide.
On Tuesday, alongside a snapshot of Scott, Jagger wrote on facebook: "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way."
"We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves," Jagger was quoted as saying, adding: "She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me."
Jagger explained: "I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received."
The Rolling Stones frontman added: "I will never forget her."
Earlier, Jagger attacked a "horrible" report by the New York Post that claimed the iconic singer and Scott had gone their separate ways before her passing.
