Trace Adkins' wife has filed for divorce after nearly 17 years of marriage.
Rhonda Adkins filed documents in Williamson County, Tennessee on Tuesday, citing "irreconcilable differences."
According to celebrity website TMZ, Adkins' wife is asking for alimony, primary residential custody as well as child support. The most interesting is that Rhonda wants to be named as the sole beneficiary in the country star's life insurance policy.
The pair was married in 1997 and broke up on Monday. They have three daughters together (aged 16, 12, and 9).
Just in case you have missed it, in January Adkins entered rehab for alcohol addiction after allegedly getting into a brawl with an impersonator on a cruise.
The country singer had been sober for 12 years.
