Scott Kalvert, the director of "Basketball Diaries", has passed away.
He was 49.
Kalvert was found in his Los Angeles residence on Wednesday and later announced dead.
The L.A. Coroner's Office is investigating the passing as a possible suicide.
Kalvert was also famous for directing "Deuces Wild" and popular '80s and '90s music videos like DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will Smith's "Parents Just Don't Understand," Salt-N-Pepa's "Shoop" and Marky Mark's "Good Vibrations."
