According to President Obama, Zach Galifianakis was "pretty nervous" to interview him while calling into "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" on Friday - in yet another attempt to get young people to sign onto his healthcare program by the March 31 deadline.
Just in case you have missed it, Obama did a "Between Two Ferns" sketch with Galifianakis that was, at times, more bizarre and awkward than funny.
Obama revealed that while the "Hangover" star usually doesn't hold back on his guests, "Zach actually was pretty nervous."
Obama noted: "It was funny to watch, you know, 'cause this whole "Between Two Ferns" shtick…his whole character is to go after the guests. I think he was looking around seeing all these Secret Service guys with guns and thinking: "I wonder what happens here if I cross a line?""
After claiming that some people signed up for Obamacare as a result of his appearance on "Between Two Ferns," Obama explained to Seacrest: "It ended up working, but I think I better keep my day job."
