Seth Meyers made his debut as host of "Late Night" on Monday.
Meyers, 40, opened his first monologue using "Thank You Notes" as Fallon, 39, did, thanking him for turning over the show and promising to use it "only for completely original comedy pieces…starting now." Apparently he didn't change the format of the talk show, a fact he also joked about: "I'm gonna shake stuff up and open this thing with a monologue!"
Meyers also joked about the Olympics and Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, mocked "Bachelor" Juan Pablo and himself after realizing that one of his jokes "bombed," discussed with his new bandleader Fred Armisen and much more.
