The 86th Annual Academy Awards will be the first Oscars telecast to be streamed live online!
On Thursday, ABC revealed that the biggest annual entertainment telecast will be coming online.
The network will live stream the pre-show and the ceremony on the internet and mobile platforms through WATCH ABC, which is available via a number of providers.
It can be accessed through Oscar.com, WATCHABC.com and ABC.com.
Live streaming is now available through Cablevision, Charter Communications, Comcast, Cox Communications, Verizon FiOS, Midcontinent Communications, Google Fiber and AT&T U-verse.
It is accessible in the following markets: Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston, Raleigh-Durham and Fresno.
Mobile users on Kindle, iOS, Windows and Android platforms can use the WATCH ABC live app.
After the Oscars air live, the telecast can be watched by WATCH ABC users for three days.
The live stream will also feature the "Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars" special and additional red carpet and backstage content will also be part of the offerings.
The Oscars start on March 2 at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT.
