Lupita Nyong'o Jokes About Jared Leto Rumors: "Miley Cyrus Broke Us Up" (VIDEO)

Lupita Nyong'o laughed at the bogus rumors linking her to Jared Leto on Friday's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Asked about the false reports, Nyong'o, 30, joked: "Ah, but I thought Miley Cyrus broke us up!"

"That was the last thing I heard," Nyong'o added.

The "12 Years a Slave" star was referring to the fact that just days after tabloids stated she and Leto were dating, Us Weekly claimed that he and Cyrus were "hooking up."


Of course, both rumors were fake, but Nyong'o's sense of humor proves she has what it takes to overcome some of the absurdity that comes with being a celebrity.
